Responsibilities
Qualifications
Key Competencies of the position
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment Laws and related issues.
- Analyze and access workplace safety risks and conduct safety patrol for checking.
- Enforce preventative measures.
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics.
- Review existing policies and procedures
- Adhere to all the rules and regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
- Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety.
- Issue safety report by periodical.
- Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.
- Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field
- Good command in English especially speaking & writing
- Certified Professional Safety Officer.
- Strong knowledge and experience in developing workplace safety plans.
- Detail oriented and good work management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office for preparing safety reports and documentation
- Abel to travel to work in different province.
